Goldwyn picks up rights to Binoche dramedy

Samuel Goldwyn Films has picked up North American rights to Cedric Klapisch’s “Paris” on the heels of the pic’s U.S. preem at Lincoln Center’s Rendez-Vous With French Cinema. Oscar winner Juliette Binoche stars in what has been dubbed the writer-director’s “love letter to Paris.” When it bowed in February in France, Gallic pic garnered rave reviews and strong B.O. Goldwyn plans to debut the dramedy Stateside in the fall.
