Sidney Kimmel Entertainment is slashing its slate in half from 5-6 films per year to 2-3. Although SKE will finance and produce fewer films, it will continue to back prestige titles like their films “The Kite Runner,” “Lars and the Real Girl” and “United 93.” SKE’s upcoming titles include “Synecdoche, N.Y.,” written and directed by Charlie Kaufman and starring Philip Seymour Hoffman; “Adventureland,” from “Superbad” director Greg Mottola; and Stephen Belber’s “Management,” starring Jennifer Aniston, Steve Zahn and Woody Harrelson.
