Ex-BF of John Edwards’ Mistress: “He Has Some More Explaining To Do”

“I think he has some more explaining to do,” McInerney told Extra in response to Edwards’ admission of his affair with Hunter.
“It seemed like a very half-a–ed confession,” he said. “I think it was unchivalrous of him to basically say that he wasn’t in love with her.”
In an interview on Friday, Edwards claimed the affair occurred in 2006 and denied fathering Hunter’s baby girl. Hunter, who did not list a father on the infant’s birth certificate, has refused a paternity test.
McInerney added, “On the other hand, the sooner this is all behind us, the better.”
