Secondly, stop making a big deal about Jamie Lynn having a baby. By publicizing it, it makes other young girls want to have sex and have babies at an age at which they are incapable of providing for the baby. Young teenage girls think it’s “cool” and the new “thing” to do. In reality, it’s a lifetime commitment in which it costs more money than most teens have, more time than they have (if they’re going to school and/or working a job), and it’s a constant struggle and battle to make ends meet. Publicizing these kinds of things contribute to girls having sex and babies at younger ages. Not only did Jamie Lynn become sexually active at a young age, and later have a child, but THOUSANDS of teens also have gone through this same experience. Jamie Lynn is no different. Sure she should be a “good role model” because she as a TV show, but every other teen girl who’s going through the same thing should be a “good role model” for all the young kids out there that see them with a baby in their arms when they’re only 13 or so years old.

All in all… leave Jamie Lynn alone. She knows her mistakes, she knows her faults, she knows the consequences that come from her actions. She doesn’t need every single person taking pictures of her, starting rumors and consistently harassing her. She doesn’t need that at all, as a matter of fact. Everyone just needs to drop it! She’s just another teenage girl who is now suffering the serious consequences from her actions.
