All is ‘Lost’ at the DVD launch party

Gee, great, another DVD launch party where they wouldn’t invite us retard fanboys that actually watch DVDs. Last time it was Desperate Housewives, this time it’s Lost Season 2, in Hawaii. Yeah, where’s my invite? Did it get Lost… in the Hatch? Hmmm…

The second season of Lost saw the deaths and disappearances of many characters. But Tuesday was a night for the survivors as cast members turned out for a launch party for the Season 2 DVD ($60, out Sept. 15) on a tiki-torch-lit beach at the North Shore’s Turtle Bay Resort.
Stars holding court at the celebration: Evangeline Lilly (Kate), Daniel Dae Kim (Jin), Yunjin Kim (Sun), Josh Holloway (Sawyer), Terry O’Quinn (Locke) and Jorge Garcia (Hurley).

Scheduling conflicts kept other regulars from the party, where guests dined on veal and fish served inside the hotel’s new Ola restaurant. As a nod to one of the series’ recurring images, two dozen Virgin Mary statues (sans heroin) were set up on tables, and the show’s mysterious numbers (4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42) decorated the dessert buffet.
