I had the privilege of working with him in my movie ‘True Lies,’ and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him and his wonderful family. He cared deeply about his craft and he loved his family, his work and his country with all his heart. Charlton also faced his illness with all the courage and steadfastness he displayed throughout his extraordinary life, and he will be missed by the countless fans who loved and were inspired by him over the years.
