“Fire up your Netflix queues! Here’s a roundup of new movies in stores this week:
Borat — By now you’ve probably heard most of the jokes, but it’s still worth seeing if you haven’t already. The DVD doesn’t include commentary (wouldn’t that have been great?), but it does have deleted scenes.
Fast Food Nation — Warning: Don’t eat a big meal before you watch it. Or afterward. This film made me appreciate the acting talents of Wilmer Valderrama.
Zach Galifianakis: Live at the Purple Onion — One of my favorite comedians releases a concert DVD with tons of extras and funny lines to quote at dinner parties and pass off as your own.
Solarbabies — The ’80s movie that featured roller skating, a glowing orb, Jason Patric and Jami Gertz finally comes to your home theater.
Let’s Go to Prison — The reviews weren’t positive, but you still may want to check out this silly comedy starring Will Arnett and Dax Shepard as goofy prisoners.
The Loop: Season One — Fox’s comedy lands on disc, though you can still watch episodes on MySpace at work.
Confetti — The British mockumentary follows couples who compete for the most original wedding of the year.
Hawaii Five-O: The First Season — I know at least one of you will be excited about this …
Peter Pan — A two-disc edition may give you a break from your kids this weekend.
Revenge of the Nerds: Panty Raid Edition — Deleted scenes, commentary and a TV pilot are included in this set.”
