Going Local - Discover Local Wine and Food

Create a “local circle,” a network of friends that exchange notes and information on the best your region has to offer in food and wine. Pay a visit to a local market and inquire about blending local tastes; cheeses, meats, produce and wine. A patient grocery clerk should be able to assist in recommendations and pairings. It makes for a tasty dinner on a Saturday night with friends. Share in the experience, talk about the local offerings, what you liked and didn’t. At the end of the meal, send your guests home with a list of the food and wine that was enjoyed — indicating where the food and wine is available for purchase.
