Douche Duchovny released from sex rehab

David Duchovny has been released from a rehabilitation clinic after two months of treatment for sex addiction.

The X Files star, who has been married to actress Tea Leoni for 11 years, declined to speak to reporters as he made his first public appearance at a New York film festival.

But the actor’s lawyer issued a statement, saying: ‘David has successfully completed his rehabilitation. He is out of rehab and will be starting a movie soon.’

Duchovny, who plays a sex-obsessed writer on the television drama series Californication, which is shown in Britain on Channel Five, had faced rumours of sex addiction before he was married.

And a source close to the series said news of his rehab was not a surprise.

They told Us magazine: ‘He’s a guy who loves women. He’s always noticed an attractive lady.’

‘He said Tea gave him an ultimatum: Get treatment or our marriage is over,’ a source is quoted as telling the National Enquirer. ‘She felt it was ruining their marriage and affecting their kids.’

The actor has been married to the Deep Impact actress for 11 years, and the couple have a daughter, Madelaine West, nine, and a six-year-old son, Kyd.

David Duchovny Sex Scandal: No Affair?

“X Files” star David Duchovny’s announcement that was he was in rehab for sex addiction sparked a lot of rumors. One of them was that he’d been caught having an affair with his tennis instructor (a woman) and that he was undergoing rehab to save his marriage.

Alas, it isn’t so, says a close friend. Duchovny did not check in because of an extramarital fling. That much the friend is certain of. Even more so: Duchovny’s problem has been longstanding. His wife, Tea Leoni, was aware of it for some time. It had just reached a point where it had to be treated.

I have inferred from my conversation with Duchovny’s friend that this has something to do with an addiction to pornography, probably on the internet. It’s the sex equivalent of a gambling addiction, where the person is just hopelessly trapped in chat rooms.
