Add Jessica Alba to the list of celebs urging young people to vote this election season. The starlet will appear in Declare Yourself’s new “Only You Can Silence Yourself” PSA campaign, in which celebs and real people are shown crying and with their mouths forced shut.
In 2004, the campaign was launched with a photo of Christina Aguilera in which her lips appeared tied together with leather string, while screws and bolts were used on Mean Girls actor Jonathan Bennett.
“Only you can silence yourself,” reads the tagline for the campaign. “Make them hear you. Register to vote now.”

The first photo of Jessica Alba’s new baby girl, Honor Marie Warren, were shown on the Internet today, published by the website of OK! Magazine.
The cover of the magazine shows Alba holding her baby, however the rest of the photo shoot and an exclusive interview with the actress is only available in the printed version.
The daughter of Alba, 27, and her husband Cash Warren, was born on June 7 in Los Angeles through natural delivery. According to reports the photos were valued at $1.5 million.
Alba announced her pregnancy in December 2007 and married with Warren on May 19 in Los Angeles. Both actors met during the filming of Fantastic Four in 2004.
“I did yoga breathing. I was focused,” said Alba regarding the birth of baby Honor, according to FOX news. The actress also said after her pregnancy she is starting to work out again and eat healthier.
Celebrities’ baby photos have provided parents with millions of dollars. Recently, the first photos of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s twins Max and Emme brought in an estimated $6 million. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s first biological son Shiloh was valued at $4.1 million in the United States, according to reports.
The first photos of Jolie and Pitt’s newly born twins are reportedly the most expensive ever. Media reports estimate a magazine in the U.S has offered between $15 million and $20 million.
Jolie gave birth to a baby girl named Vivienne Marcheline and a baby boy named Knox Leon on July 12 in Nice, France.

According to Cinemablend there is big news on the Barbarella front. Hot off hte heels of telling you the film was put on hold because the studio wanted a bigger name comes word that Jessica Alba is in talks to replace Rose McGowan as Barbarella.
The rumor started after Robert reportedly broke up with Rose, opening the door for a new female lead. I have to admit that Jessica Alba as Barbarella will definitely sell tickets!
The remake of the 1968 flick “Barbarella” starring Jane Fonda has been in the works for a while. The female lead has been rumored to be everyone from Lindsay Lohan to Angelina Jolie and Kate Beckinsale. New mom Jessica Alba gave birth to her first child, Honor Marie Warren, last month. Now she’s carefully considering how she and husband Cash Warren will influence their daughter.
“Kids’ personalities have so much to do with the parents and their mentality,” the 27-year-old tells Britain’s Sunday Express for their S Magazine. “If you’re very paranoid and uptight and won’t let your child cross the street, they are going to take on that anxiety. If you’re a little more laid-back and make your kids responsible for their actions, you’ll probably have an easier time with them. I guess I’ll find out.”
The actress has also been studying up on children’s health issues.
“I’ve been reading a lot about kids and infections, autism and vaccinations,” adds Alba, who suffered from health problems as a child. “I’ve come to think that perhaps I was a product of my environment or the vaccines or something my mother took when she was pregnant.”

Jessica Alba’s newest role is that of a mother, but she’ll also be something more for her new daughter, a former costar says.
“She’ll be really attentive and really strong and she’ll be a great role model,” actress Rosario Dawson told PEOPLE at the Cinevegas Honorees Reception in Las Vegas on Friday. “She’s very smart and I like that about her.”
Dawson, who starred in Sin City with Alba and was being honored at the movie festival with the “Half Life” award, said she has already congratulated the new mother, and called Honor Marie Warren “a beautiful little girl.”
“I don’t know what people think about her on the outside or what their impression is, but Jessica is very strong and a very powerful woman,” says Dawson.

New mom Jessica Alba’s father has revealed that the actress’ newborn daughter Honor Marie looks just like her mother. In an interview to Latina.com, the 27-year-old actress’ father Mark Alba admits that the infant has a spitting image of her mother.
“She’s got Jessica’s complexion, her hair, her eyes. She looks like Jessica when she was a baby,” the Daily Telegraph quoted Mark, as saying. Mark also said that the Jessica has the prettiest baby.
“Jessica was the prettiest baby I had ever seen, but I was wrong. That title now belongs to Honor,” he said. Jessica and husband Cash Warren became proud parents last weekend at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
“I was really choked up,” Mark said. “I never thought that I would cry so much. The fact that this little girl came out of my daughter’s stomach, it blows my mind,” he exclaimed, adding that he wasn’t nearly as emotional when Jessica’s brother Josh Alba’s first child was born. “Somehow, this was different,” he said.

Jessica Alba, who gave birth to a girl on June 7, doesn’t seem to have plans to sell photos of little Honor Marie Warren — at least not yet. “I haven’t really gotten any (offers) — not that I’m aware of. You have to understand, everything that is written is kind of bull,” Alba told the New York Daily News.
Several magazine insiders say Alba’s claim about the offers is not true. In fact, the insiders say offers were made to Alba, that she was kept in the loop and that some talks are still in progress.
The insiders cite Us Weekly, OK! magazine and People as the weeklies most likely to score a deal. “She is part of the talks, I don’t know why she’d go out and say that,” said one insider.

Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren have welcomed a baby girl.
Honor Marie Warren was born June 7 in Los Angeles, her rep, Brad Cafarelli, confirms. This is the couple’s first child.
Alba, 27, and Warren, 31, quietly wed on May 19 at the Beverly Hills courthouse. The two met while working on Fantastic Four, for which Warren was the director’s assistant. They became engaged last December.
The actress recently did some last-minute shopping for baby gear at Bel Bambini on Robertson Boulevard in Los Angeles, picking up items such as Born Free baby bottles and a Boppy pillow for breastfeeding.
“She seemed relaxed,” says a source, “and ready to welcome home her baby.”
As for the kind of parent she plans to be, the actress recently told Fit Pregnancy that she’ll walk the line between tough and nurturing. “I don’t want to be my child’s best friend. I want to be a mom,” she said. “But I do want my child to come to me when they have problems and need to talk, so it’s going to be about treading that line.”

I mean my dad is dark-skinned [Mexican], Cash’s daddy is dark-skinned [African-American], and our moms are both white. So there’s a 50-50 chance of our kid coming out dark or light. It would be nice if the daddies can see themselves in our baby.
