Kristen Bell says there’s one person she’s never forgetting: Detroit Red Wings star Chris Osgood.
Maybe not a household name to non-hockey fans, but Bell says that growing up as a tomboy in Detroit, she considered Osgood “my first crush.”
“Brad Pitt be damned – he had nothing on Osgood’s rookie skill and sad eyes,” Bell, 26, says on NHL.com. “There was actually a day in high school when I wrote on a name tag ‘Mrs. Osgood’ and wore it the whole day. I really thought we were perfect for each other. I’d love to meet him – and probably apologize that things never worked out.”
Needless to say, the star of Forgetting Sarah Marshall is rooting for Osgood’s Red Wings, who are up two-games-to-none in the Stanley Cup Finals, with game three set for Wednesday on NBC.

Good news for fans of Kristen Bell’s deranged Elle Bishop on NBC’s Heroes: The actress told EW.com that her reps are working to get her back on the NBC mythology drama next season. “I have made it more than clear that I want to come back and they have made it more than clear that they want me back,” she told EW.com while walking the red carpet at the Forgetting Sarah Marshall premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday. “With the writers strike, it threw everyone for a loop and now they have to work around everyone’s schedules. I love that the next season is supposed to be subtitled “Villains.” I am thrilled by the idea that my good friend Zach Quinto (Sylar) and I could possibly have scenes together.”

Reliable insiders confirm that Kristen has been offered a role as one of the daughters on ABC’s Outrageous Fortune remake, and that Rene Russo is very close to signing on as the mother. The series is about a family of criminals, in which the father gets sent to the clinker and the mother decides to set everyone straight.

Expert scene stealer Will Arnett has packed his bags for “When in Rome,” a romantic comedy starring Kristen Bell that Mark Steven Johnson is directing for Disney. Arnett joins Josh Duhamel, Jon Heder, Anjelica Huston and Dax Shepard in the story centering on a love-starved New York curator (Bell) who steals magical coins from the Trevi Fountain in Rome but soon finds herself in a bizarre situation when she is pursued back to New York by a band of aggressive suitors whose coins she took. Arnett will play an Italian artist who becomes one of the suitors, following Bell to New York.
