‘Nim’s Island’ tops sales, rentals

“Nim’s Island” came to DVD and Blu-ray Disc with a boxoffice gross of just $48 million, but its popularity on disc was enough to boot the previous week’s top seller, New Line’s “Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay,” to a distant No. 2 on the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert sales chart. In its debut week, “Nim’s Island” outsold sophomore “Harold & Kumar” by a margin of more than three to one. - from THR
