Don’t worry, readers – Empire hasn’t entered a timewarp and pitched up in 1973 (before you go nitpicking, that’s when The Godfather Part II was shot). We’re not talking about Francis Ford Coppola’s Oscar-winning sequel to The Godfather. We’re talking about EA’s sequel to The Godfather videogame.
Yes, it was announced today that EA is prepping The Godfather II, their follow-up to the four-million selling 2006 original, for a release next February, and they’re recruited surviving original cast members, notably Duvall (who’ll record original voiceovers as Tom Hagen), to lend their voices to the project.
